I use FSOUND_Stream_Create to play audio in my app. Playing is no problem.
But now, I am attempting to synchronize audio with video. And I have had no any luck setting sync points. AddSyncPoint always fails. Since I use a small buffer, 1-2K, could it be that I am not allowed to add sync points that are in the future, beyond currently loaded buffer?
Any insight on the limitation of sync points is greatly appreciated.
If whoever knows feels like writing, can you tell me when exactly is the sync callback fired? Is it as precise as “exactly when the requested sample is starting to play”?
