Well … I’ll try to explain what i am trying to do … I m doing a player in VB, it s in advanced stage but i want to add DSP plugins support. What i did is to export the callback needed by FSOUND_DSP_Create, i know it s kludge but it the only way i found because VB can’t handle fonctions with parameters in a struct. So, for now i do my test with another simple player in C/C++ but it doesn’t work better … When i debug the DLL, i have an acces violation : in fact, in the callback i write to the newbuffer for updating the sound buffer and i m not alone … FMOD does the same thing ! I have used mutex to lock the variable but it does nothing. If you don’t understand, i ll post the source here.

Thanx in advance for your help.

Hey KarLKoX!

If you want DSPs with VB you’ll probably need an interface between FMOD and VB. I can send you my own “bridge” dll, if you need.
Give me your e-mail if you’re interested!
