I’ve never used audio APIs before and I have recently been learning OpenGL and want to include some sound. FMOD was recommended and so I downloaded fmodapi340.zip

Can anyone tell me the basic steps required to get some sound up and running in my programs? I had a brief play around with some code and looked at the example but am still lost? The code I have compiles w/o errors but doesnt appear to play any sound.

This is the code I used to try and play an mp3 or wav file:

FMUSIC_MODULE* mod = FMUSIC_LoadSong( "testwav.wav" );        //try testwav.wav or testmp3.mp3
FMUSIC_PlaySong( mod );

hi, i posted also a message before.
I am a begginer in opnGL programmer and i want to use fmod in my demos. The functions you mentioned, where should i put them?i tried DrawglScene but i had many errors.
