Is the plan to release it under a similar license/pricing to fmod 3? fmod is an amazing resource for those of us developing free software! 😛

Really looking forward to seeing all this new functionality!

Continuing briefly on the subject of fmod4 – will it have a method for supporting multiple sound cards?

I understand that this can be achieved by “dynamically” loading fmod 3 under c/c++ (although I’m not sure what that means) – but under VB the only way to achieve this is to ship multiple copies of fmod.dll and implement calls to them seperately.

I wonder if any of the new functionality in fmod 4 might be relevent to trying to achieve this?

Thanks

Wow – that IS cool! 8)

Sorry to go on a bit but will all of this be supported under VB 5/6? I know that fmod has never been 100% supported under VB, but are these fmod Ex objects ActiveX objects or something else representable in VB?
