Hi,
I’m new here. I’m writing a small audio-player and till now I used Harware modes like FSOUND_HW2D or 3D, but now I want to add an EQ. So I need one channel to play all my streams, but when I try play on the channel I get back from the first use of FSOUND_PlayStream() it doesn’t work. I read that I have to use the FSOUND_SYTEMCHANNEL, but the Stream doesn’t play. So I wrote this small code to check where the mistake is. Here’s my code:

FSOUND_SetBufferSize(100);
FSOUND_Init(44100, 32, FSOUND_INIT_ENABLESYSTEMCHANNELFX);
Stream = FSOUND_Stream_Open("z.mp3",FSOUND_NORMAL,0,0);
FSOUND_Stream_Play(FSOUND_SYSTEMCHANNEL, Stream);

FSOUND_GetError() always returnes 14 after FSOUND_Sream_Open()

yes, thank you! I misunderstood the meaning of the FSOUND_SYSTEMCHANNEL. Now my EQ works.
