Hello all,
I just got the FMOD dll and would like to know if anyone has any information that they would be willing to share with me. For instance, I would like to create a “Winamp” like application that can read a variety of formats such as *.wav, *.mp3, *.ogg, *.wma, etc. and display an analyzer both before and after processing.

I’ve seen a couple of examples at PSC, but they really don’t explain the “How-to’s” of the FMOD dll.

Any help is greatly appreciated, Thanx. ๐Ÿ˜€

Hello all,
Thanx for the reply Chris, but what “sdk” are you referring to?

I would imagine that Chris was simply refering to the FMOD API download that you can access on http://www.fmod.org, just click on the download link.

To developing using VB simply include the fmod.bas file in your project and then use the documentation included in that API download.

There is an example VB project also in that download that will show you how to get started.

Hello all,
Thanx for the info andrewboothman, I didn’t know that the download “fmodapi374win.zip (1,955kb)” from http://52.88.2.202/ was referred to as an “sdk”.

It also helps to find the “Help” file.

Thanx again,
