I use VB.NET and I have a .wav file with Sound Forge marks for syncronization. First I use
result = FMod.FSOUND_Stream_SetSyncCallback(shandle, AddressOf FuncSendSyncInfo, Syncdata)
to set callback and the callback looks like
Public Function FuncSendSyncInfo(ByVal FSOUND_STREAM As Integer, ByVal buff As String, ByVal len As Integer, ByVal userdata As Integer) As Integer
TextBox1.Text = buff
End Function

Everything is ok, I start to play the file and I see the textbox updating by marks BUT after a while application crashs with following message:
Unhandled exception at 0x001a7fbe in DancingRobot.exe: 0xC0000096: Privileged instruction.

Disassembling stops at command
001A7FBE out dx,al

I think it’s a kind of performance problem, because if I instead of textbox updating only increase an integer variable fmod plays the file to the end.Usually:)
I have updated audio and video drivers. I have tried
DSOUND as output.

And now I want your help! :)
Thank you!
