I recently downloaded FMOD to experiment with. Love it. I’m trying out the callback feature with streaming WAVs. However, my recently and expensively purchased Wavelab 3.0 will not save generic cue markers in the WAV RIFF data, only loop markers. I was wondering if anyone could recommend an inexpensive (preferably freeware!) software option just for adding generic cue markers to WAV files . . . I’ve got both Macs and PCs so either platform is ok.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Phil

Actually, after more searching, I found one possibility. It’s Goldwave (at http://www.goldwave.com). It’s shareware (under $50 USD) and will save a marker in the cue points chunk of the RIFF. It’s got a lot of other features too for those who don’t need a $400 editor like Sound Forge or Wavelab.
