Hi everyone,
I am rather confused about all this reverberation/echo/DSP stuff and don’t quite see how it can fit together.
Now, the trouble is that I want to “muffle” a sound – someone stepping on a carpet should get the impression. I wonder how this can be done using FMOD?
I have looked at the tutorials, but I didn’t quite understand the parts about DSP – I think this has to be used though I am not sure.
Any help would be appreciated. Especially an easy-to-understand site on DSP.
Yours sincerely,
Peter.

Hi Brett,
Thank you very much for that answer.
Could you give me a website that could let me get started doing that or show me how it’s done with the FX API?
Thanks for all the help,
Peter.
