Hi all. Of course to release a stream file handle we need to Fsound_Stream_Close. But what if the song just play until it ends?…
I see that the handle is not released.
Shoulld I put it in a timer and continuously monitoring it? (and how)
What is the optimal way to make my program release the file handle after the song ends by itself?
Thanks

Well Brett, easier to say than to do (for me at least). The truth is that I do not really understand from the documentation how the FSound_Stream_SetEndCallback should be implemented (especially the Fsound_StreamCallback…and most of all I am trying to do that in Delphi.
Could you or someone else please give me a short example of how to close stream1 when it normally ends? (even a c++ example)

Thanks

Ok! I ‘ve read the examples about the Endcallback end I have manged to call the endcallbck function through the Fsound_Stream_SetEndCall. I have put an Fsound_Stream_Close within the endcallback but in Kylix after the function is executed the application exits with no error messages….No matter what I put in the endcallback function it just exits as soon as it executes it…Any ideas?
