I work on linux (mandrake 10.1 distrib)
the compilation line is g++ -o exe Main.cpp
Fmod.h and all headers files are in the correct path

i really dont understand
you also have to know that i’am a newbie user of linux ans i perhaps forgot to do an extremly simple thing

Any ideas ?
thank a lot

i found the answer (so sorry for this forum polution)
for those who have this problem ( and those who will have it) solution was :

copy $fmoddit/api/libfmod/libfmod-version.so to /usr/lib
and compil with g++ -lfmod-version source.cpp

for qt user :
add
!mac:unix:LIBS += -lfmod-3.74 to your .pro file
