Guys,

I’ve added support for FMOD-Ex alpha to our latest build & all seems well …

As a minor API issue, I notice that you are still using integer volume parameters.

As your new engine is floating point focused, would it not be better to specify volume as a float in the range 0 to 1.0f or 0 to 100.0f ?

Regards,
Steve.

I believe brett is considering this already, but I’m not sure. Another voice in support of it never hurts, though! 😉

I also think this would be a good idea :)

I support the idea.

[quote="brett":164c99rw]It has been changed.

volume, pan, master volume and speaker levels are now 0.0 to 1.0.
I also changed frequency from int to float so you can do more precise frequency adjustments (ie 44100.5 instead of 44100), which doesn’t sound useful but is actually very useful when trying to synchronize playback of sounds with different sample rates.[/quote:164c99rw]Wow, awesome. Can we expect this in v16?
