Can fmod play to two soundcards at once?

I want to play one mp3 to one soundcard, another mp3 to another soundcard. Is this possible?

Ok, one more question:

If I want to play songx on soundcard1 and soundcard2 at the sam time is there a way to do that, or do I need to load it twice and play it twice and hope they will be almost in sync?

They don’t need to be perfectly in sync since one soundcard is going to the djs head phones and the other to the main speakers.

I’ll explain a bit more, I’m a wedding DJ and I’m in the process of writing my own DJing app. I’ve already got the MP3 manager done, now I’m working on the playing.

There will be better support for using multiple sound cards (by creating multiple System objects) in FMOD Ex, which is due to go into public beta in the next few weeks I think.

I’ve been messing about with the private alpha for a few months now, and I can assure you it’s worth the wait! ๐Ÿ˜€

Ohhhh… Bagloads of stuff! ๐Ÿ˜€

Probably better to wait for the public beta. I’m sure Brett will post something describing everything that’s changed. There’s loads of new functionality and a new API.
