Just wanted to ask if fmodEX supports borland, in fmod3 you had the fmod_bc.lib file but I cannot seem to find anything like that and I get errors when I try to use the other two library files. I have also tried IMPLIB’ing you Dll to no avail.

Sorry if it a silly question.

oh nm my above comment, i forgot this is in the fmod-ex forums

[code:dpwzbmrj]implib fmodex.lib fmodex.dll[/code:dpwzbmrj]
Then inside your application use
[code:dpwzbmrj]#pragma link "fmodex.lib"[/code:dpwzbmrj]or implement the library globally

I am not sure if I m using implib properly. I create a blank file called fmodex.lib (if I don’t create the file implib won’t work) and then do the implib thing. the library file is now 81kb’s big.

I then implement the library globally, this is when things get wierd. I can declare all my fmod interfaces (system, sound…) and I can call the system->init(…) function and the program will compile, but as soon as I call the system->release() I get linker errors. This is in a program with just those two lines (I have tried to compile your source code and the same thing happens).

I will try the pragma link thing tonight.

Sorry if I am being annoying (I am using BCB X if that means anything).
