I’m having problems getting my program to actually go away in the emulator when it’s linked to the FMOD library. Whenever I just kill it from the debugger, the program (as a process) still stays alive (occurring to Task Manager) and it won’t allow me to run a new instance. The process goes away fine whenever I just quit normally though.

Does anyone else have this problem?
Is there any way to unload the library from memory manually?

Thanks!

Digh!

I switched it to OUTPUT_DSOUND and installed DX8.1 but there still isn’t any sound. I tried the OUTPUT_A3D but that didn’t work either. DxDiag says that DirectDound is installed properly. Is there something else that needs to be set or can FMOD generate diagnostic output somehow?

Thanks,
Ben
