Hi!

I’m trying to make a racing game and I’m trying to set an engine sound of the car. I use the RPM to change the frequency of the car (I use an intermediate value, so RPM are turned into a 0.0 1.0 value, and I obtain the frequency from there).

But the RPM changes a lot during the game, so the frequency also changes and doesn’t sound natural at all.

sounds ok to me, but it may sound better if you put some damping on the rpm change so that the sound changes slightly slower than the actual rpm
