Sorry I have to expand on this a bit.
We have created a three player system with each player triggering the next to start at a precalculated StartNext point and fading out while the next player is fading in the next song song starting at a defined cueIN.
Each player is being filled by a dynamically created playlist. Whenever the playlist is close to empty it gets filled again.

We want to use this player setup to create a stream to broadcast our own MP3s(CBR) on the internet.

Well this scenario works fine but at some point the running player stops in the middle of a song for no reason whatsoever.

The problem is, that since we want to produce a constant stream we need constant surveillance.

We would very much appreciate help here.

Cheers Tara

Can tell you that fmod works fine for crossfading (1 player, max 2 songs (crossfade)), and playback works for days…
Only known lack is stuttering sound after several hours when using wavemapper (after another several hours playback finally works without stuttering sound again)
(Win98se, SB Live Value, Dx9c),

Are you using FSOUND_MPEGACCURATE flag when opening streams?

You may also check if there is a playback progress comparing positions from time to time, so if due any reason playback fails you can switch to the next song (without crossfade?)
