I have found that if I call FSOUND_Stream_SetTime(stream, 0) before playing an .ogg (streaming from memory), the beginning playback of the sound is not quite accurate. It is noticeable in dialog that begins with a soft sound (e.g. “hose” sounds more like “pose”). If I do NOT make the call, the sound plays correctly.

If I make the call for a .wav file streaming from memory, there is no problem; seems to just be the .ogg format. I haven’t tried other types of compression.

So, I’ve worked around this as best I can by not making the call unless the time is not already at 0, but there are times when I do need to reset to the beginning of the stream.

Any ideas why this is occurring?
