Hello all,

I’m a FMOD newbie, so please bear with me. I’ve successfully played a mp3 in a DOS window with this code:

[code:3o9p1fhx]
samp = FSOUND_Sample_Load(FSOUND_FREE, "abc.mp3", FSOUND_HW2D | FSOUND_ENABLEFX, 0, 0);
int channel = FSOUND_PlaySound(FSOUND_FREE, samp);

printf("Press any key to quit\n");
printf("Playing %s...\n", FMUSIC_GetName(mod));
getch();

FMUSIC_FreeSong(mod);
FSOUND_Close();
[/code:3o9p1fhx]

Now I wanted to do the same but use it in a windows application (play a mp3 after a button is clicked), which doesn’t work. In the DOS version the command getch() keeps the song playing. In a windows application “getch()” doesn’t work. Any clues?

This is not a FMOD issue but a window programming one, look at [url=http://www.relisoft.com/win32/index.htm:23fz3p5q]here[/url:23fz3p5q] to learn the basis.

Thanks for the link, nevertheless has somebody a simple example of FMOD being used in a WinApi project?
