I’m close to publicly releasing a free game engine that uses fmod and it would be nice if I could include the SDK within the package so that samples and demos compile right out of the box. I am making it as clear as possible that fmod requires seperate licensing terms and providing many links to fmod.org.
If there’s any problems I’ll just add download and installation instructions.

Yes but I’m releasing the whole source, not just libs and headers. In fact that gives me an idea… two releases; one with all source and d/load and installation instructions for these 3rd party libs, and an easy to use lib version. That should work well (and probably even better).
I’ve packaged everything in a way that keeps things simple for me but unfortunately I still need the 4 header files from the sdk.
