While compiling with gcc4 and xcode (osx 10.4.2) I get a warning everytime fmod_errors.h is parsed:

fmod_errors.h:16: warning: ‘char* FMOD_ErrorString(FMOD_RESULT)’ defined but not used

is there a means to (cleanly) get rid of it? By the way I am using that function a lot in code, so I don’t understand why gcc is complaining :(

thanks
Davide

Must be because it expects a static function to be used in the same file as it is defined… anyway now I’m turning the warning off this way:

[code:10vkmfi8]

include "fmod.h"

ifdef GNUC

attribute ((unused))

endif

static char *FMOD_ErrorString(FMOD_RESULT errcode)
[...]
[/code:10vkmfi8]
