Hi, I’m doing some frequency shifting of a module file being played as a stream, and when i call getDefaults on the Sound, it reports the frequency as 0. This doesn’t seem to be correct according to the documentation, or in practice – the actual playback channel seems to run at 48khz, and if I set the frequency to 0, it pretty much doesn’t work.

Edit: In actuality, this seems to be true for all Sound objects, which is definitely not what the documentation says, nor is it what I expected. I loaded a WAV file and called getDefaults and the reported Frequency was 0. Pan, Volume, and Priority all seem to work correctly.

[quote="brett":1yv735kt]Hrm all my tests are all calling getDefaults and return the proper value. Are you sure you are passing it and displaying it as a floating point variable instead of an integer?[/quote:1yv735kt]Yes.

Once I call setDefaults to change the frequency, it then reports a valid number (for example, if I try to set it to 0hz it sets it to 100.0hz and returns that afterwards).

If you want, I can try and reproduce this in one of the examples. It worked for every sound I tried it on, so I assumed it applied to everything – if it’s not showing up in your tests, there must be something specific.
