Hello :)

Is it possible with FMOD to get a graph like in the
Windows Media Player 10 Visualization :

[b:2kzk8d0l]Bars and Waves -> Scope[/b:2kzk8d0l]

? I don’t think the DSP Spectrum Analyzer can
help on this, right ?

Thanks for any ideas ! :)

Regards

hey i don’t think thts a job of fmod .we can have any kind of spectrum like in wmp using fmod.but the graphical part(waves & bars) should be done by yourself.all that fmod does is tht it takes a sanpshot of the frequencies in the soundcard and send it in a array of singles.which can be mainpulated in your spectrum analyzer.u can get this array using getwavedata function call .using either of the function call u can use to get wave data.

[code:1na32i9z]Public Declare Function FMOD_System_GetSpectrum Lib "z:\fmodex.dll" (ByVal system As Long, ByRef spectrumarray As Single, ByVal numvalues As Long, ByVal channeloffset As Long, ByRef windowtype As FMOD_DSP_FFT_WINDOW) As FMOD_RESULT

Public Declare Function FMOD_System_GetWaveData Lib "z:\fmodex.dll" (ByVal system As Long, ByRef wavearray As Single, ByVal numvalues As Long, ByVal channeloffset As Long) As FMOD_RESULT
