I have recently updated to the latest version of Fmod Ex when I discovered that now all Module playback doesn’t seem to output anything. MP3’s seem to work fine. (I upgraded from 4.00.34, so this bug may have occurred anytime since then).

Basically, to show the bug, I have updated my “SimplePlay” program (which you’ve used before Brett) to load a module file and play it. The materials needed to test this bug can be found here.

The zip includes the .exe along with Fmodex.dll 4.00.37 version. I also left up the modules from last time for your testing needs and added a few more so you can test mod, s3m and it formats.

I noticed that during a module’s playback, the time moves…but the rows/patterns/orders do not (or at least, the information isn’t returning).

Hopefully this bug can be resolved soon. Let me know if you need more information…usually I’m more descriptive.

EDIT: Win32 version of Fmod

My Specs:
~2.1 Ghz AMD Althon processor
768MB RAM
DirectX 9.0c
Realtek AC97 Audio (latest drivers)

Modules worked fine in version 4.00.34, and they seem to work ok now…except, there is no audio playback.

Thanks for the detailed info Brandon. 4.00.37 has been updated so re-download it to get the fix.

Cheers,
