[quote:18d1ldyj]Plug-in support. FMOD Ex now accepts 3rd party plug-ins for input, output and DSP. Winamp and VST plug-ins are supported![/quote:18d1ldyj]
After reading that on the main page I tried to use a winamp input plugin, but FMOX Ex is complaning about an “Unsupported file or audio format.”.
Every other FMOD Ex/winamp topic I have seen was about dsp-plugins. Are winamp input plugins not supported or am I doing something wrong?
[code:18d1ldyj]int blub = 0;
FMOD.PLUGINTYPE codec = FMOD.PLUGINTYPE.CODEC;
result = system.loadPlugin("../../api/plugins/In_tfmx.dll", ref codec, ref blub);[/code:18d1ldyj]

Yes, saw that too. If it really isn’t supported, I’ll have a closer look at it.
But I still hope, I did something wrong and FMOD Ex supports it by itself like the feature list says :)

Ah, okeydokey.
But “Plug-in support. FMOD Ex now accepts 3rd party plug-ins for input, output and DSP. Winamp and VST plug-ins are supported!” is from the fmod main-page ๐Ÿ˜‰ That’s probably a little bit misleading.
