Just realized that there is a new int value in the reverb properties to use System::setReverbProperties() with.

Documentation says:
Instance
[in] 0 , 2 , 0 , EAX4/GameCube only. Environment Instance. 3 (2 for GameCube) seperate reverbs simultaneously are possible. This specifies which one to set. (win32/gamecube)

I havent understood yet how to specifiy different reverb instances on different channels.

Ah ok, I checked the CHANNELPROPERTIES but not the FLAGS. Thanks for the help!
