I’m trying to include reverb with the 3D sound in my project, but it doesn’t work properly. There seems to be no change in the position of a sample as it moves within the cube from -24 to 24 on any axis, but between a distance of 24 and 25 on any axis it attenuates sharply and is inaudible at 25.

Does anyone have an explanation for this? Is there any detailed documentation on using and troubleshooting reverb effects available anywhere besides the EAX 3 SDK from Creative?

Yes, it only happens when I enable reverb. With no reverb, 3D sound functions as expected.

Right now I’m just using the FSOUND_REVERB_PROPERTIES presets to test things out. Rolloff factor, distance factor, and mindistance are all at default values.
