How do I proper use getPluginInfo?

I do like this but don’t get the full name of the winamp dsp only a part of it. If I set my _wplLen higer than 16 it crach.

[code:1va2o0v3]

FMOD.PLUGINTYPE m_dspType = FMOD.PLUGINTYPE.DSP;
int m_dspIndex=0;
result = m_system.loadPlugin(pluginFile,ref m_dspType,ref m_dspIndex);

StringBuilder _wplName=new StringBuilder();
int _wplLen=16;
uint _wplVersion=0;
m_system.getPluginInfo(FMOD.PLUGINTYPE.DSP,m_dspIndex,_wplName,_wplLen,ref _wplVersion);

Console.WriteLine(_wplName.ToString());

[/code:1va2o0v3]

Maybe that’s because you’re not sizing the StringBuilder?

Thanks!

Sizing stringbuilder to 32 did the trick.

StringBuilder _wplName=new StringBuilder(32);
int _wplLen=32;
