We’re developing and audio application for guitar and we are using the
channel-group in order to simulate a track. On these channel groups, we
allocate the DSP (FMOD) and VST (External) using ChannelGroup::addDSP.

We would like to know if there’s a difference and preference between
adding a ChannelGroup::addDSP to each DSP/VST, and adding one addDSP to
the ChannelGroup and then adding the DSP:addInput.

A present if one of these tracks (ChannelGroups), is empty and the
DSP/VST is active, we encounter system problems (system slowdown, noise sound
generation…).

We are also having a problem with the panoramic… it seems to be that
the VST systematically returns the signal to centre. It is therefore
impossible for us to apply a stereo panoramic to the tracks passing by
VST at the end of the chain.

We have used your “dsp_gain” example to create a simple DSP. We’ve added
it at the very end position of the network “ChannelGroup” in order to
force the right panoramic, but apparently (error on our part?), that
affects the panoramic on all the tracks.

Thanks in advance for your help in this matter and also for the great
job you have done!

Best Regards
Maxime
