I have a little problem with channels. I load & play lots of sounds. Most time there are no problems, but sometimes I loose a channel. It is not stolen, but the handle got invalid. Quite shortly after I got the handle from playSound() any access to the handle (eg isPlaying(), getUserData()) returns FMOD_ERR_INVALID_HANDLE. If I then release the handle and play the same sound again, anything is alright. Any idea?

Channels should become invalid once the sound has completed playing, even if they aren’t stolen, IIRC

IIRC channels are only ‘stolen’ when a new sound begins playing on them before the previous sound has finished
