Why can’t I load the DLL ?

I stil get “file not found”. I don’t want the dll in “../../api/” I changed C# to this public const string dll = “fmodex.dll”, and have the dll in the same folder as my exe (like I always hade before)

The playstream example works, but if I change the OutPut path in compiler (.NET C#) to default “bin\Debug\” not “.\” that example have then I get “file not found” (the dll is in same folder as the exe).

Is there som special settings in the compiler I have to use???

I removed Precompile, I don’t understan why you copy the .cs class every time.

This version solves the problem of crash in System.Init of version 4.01.06. Now I will continue testing it.

There seem to be some problemw when multiple applicationw use FMOD Ex (4.01.07).

I’ve told you in 4.01.06 that Geometry don’t work. This is the same with 4.01.07.
But, I’ve just find the cause of the problem !

Geometry example [b:1xhlucvh]DON’T[/b:1xhlucvh] work if I one or more applications use FMOD Ex before executing it.
Geometry example works if I close all applications using FMOD Ex before running it.

(I’ve got some difficulties to find the cause because I’ve always my player written with FMOD Ex running)

Here is another problem ([b:1xhlucvh]crash[/b:1xhlucvh] of FMOD Ex) :
If I run geometry first, then playsound (by keeping geometry running).
When I close playsound, I’ve got a crash of FMOD Ex :
[code:1xhlucvh] The instruction "0x10050945" use the memory adresse "0x00000000". Memory can’t be read.
The instruction "0x100508fa" use the memory adresse "0x00000000". Memory can’t be read.
[/code:1xhlucvh]
[u:1xhlucvh]Remark:[/u:1xhlucvh] This is the same if I use instead of playsound another example or application that use FMOD Ex.

Now, I think the cause of the problem is well describe. May be this will helps you to fix it.
Sorry for my previous posts, I’ve probably badly explain the problem (I’ve made more tests last day).

[u:1xhlucvh]Note:[/u:1xhlucvh] All of this was tested with last FMOD Ex ie 4.01.07.

[quote:2sel8adz]are you talking about the pre-compiled examples in /examples/bin[/quote:2sel8adz]
Yes, it is also the same if I compile them (C++ examples).

I noticed that the Xbox 360 version crashes while trying to dereference a NULL pointer when you call System::close() if you set up FMOD with the FMOD_INIT_DISABLESOFTWARE flag. It may do the same on win32, but I haven’t tested it yet.
