I need an API to provide simple playback of MP3 and WMA sound on an iPaq 3870 running PocketPC 2002/Windows CE 3.0. I do not need any editing capability or really any other capability other than Play, Rew, FF, Stop, and Pause. FMOD CE seems to be exactly what I need. Since this will be a comercial product the fees seem resonable as well. I have a few issues for clarification:

  1. Has FMOD been compiled and tested for PocketPC 2002?

  2. If I read this right WMA is not currently supported for FMODCE. Is this correct? Is there a time frame for when it will be available?

  3. MP3 PLayback is supported. Is this correct?

  4. What is the size of the FMOD CE redistributable?

  5. If i use FMODCE for a commercial application to play MP3s in addition to the FMOD fees, there is a .75cents per item MP3 license fee?

  6. I can try out FMODCE for free until we actually start selling our product, at which time we will have to pay the FMOD Licensing Fee.

Thanks for the Info.
