[quote="brett":20eaowr9]i’ve just played this and it doesnt crash. make sure you are actually using the 4.02.05 dll.[/quote:20eaowr9]
Hm. Strange. I’m sure that dll is 4.02.05 ver.
Maybe my sound card or drv playing badly some formats, but how can be that?

I shall try to explain:
In the beginning of reproduction some notes are lost, and those which are – playing incorrectly.

After finally getting around to installing this version (downloaded when it was first released), I noticed that the plugin dll -> codec_aac.dll is actually a debug dll. (i.e linked to MSVCRTD.dll, as well as containing a link to the program database file C:\pc\src\sound\fmod4\win32\DebugDLL\codec_aac.pdb internally)

No worries :)

I do have a question about the getLength call, when calling it on an internet stream.

The call to getLength doesn’t fail (returns FMOD_OK), but it returns what to be an insane number. The return is unsigned, but it doesn’t appear to be returning -1 either.

The value it returns is 97391548 ( 0x05ce13bc ).

I wasn’t able to find any information about this in the help file, and was wondering if it was an error, or if I should use the exact value to determine a net stream and ignore length.

Yes, I used FMOD_TIMEUNIT_MS.

I think returning -1 ( 0xffffffff ) is a great idea :)
