I’m having problems with getting exact bitrate when playing a sound. I have used simple method:

int oldbytes = 0;
do
{
Sleep(1000); // one second passes
Channel->getPosition(&currbytes, FMOD_TIMEUNIT_RAWBYTES);
kbps = (currbytes – oldbytes) * 8 / 1024;
oldbytes = currbytes;
} while (1)

But the calculated bitrate is variable, even when playing a non-VBR file. How to calculate exact bitrate ?
