Hi, I’m pretty new to FMOD and was playing about with the examples when I noticed this:

How come if I run the generate tone example, which should play note A (440Hz), and record it using the pitch detection example it detects G#4 instead of A4?

Does anyone know how I could change it so that it played note A4 and recorded A4?

And how come in the generate tone example, it always seems to say the frequency is 44100 even if I change the frequency uisng this:
result2= dsp2->setParameter(FMOD_DSP_OSCILLATOR_RATE, 349.23f);

Thanks I understand whats going on a bit better now.

I think the problem is with the note being produced rather than a problem with the FFT as I’ve tested it using a guitar tuner and it also picks up G# instead of A. I’ve also tried recording the note A from a keyboard and the FFT detects this correctly.
