This may sound (pardon my pun) strange, but I have an issue that I can’t seem to get a handle on.

I have spoken dialog in a simulation that was historically played as 2D sound. Just for grins, I tried setting the sound to 3D and it plays, but it plays really fast. Sounds like Alvin and the Chipmunks! The sound is streaming in both 2D and 3D modes.

I have played 3D sounds using audioEmitters in my sim and they play just fine.

Any suggestions on where to start looking?

Once again you ‘hit the nail right on the head’!

When I verified that the correct velocity was being set, it worked like a charm. On the path to verifiy the problem I also discovered a ‘typo’ bug that would have caused a lot of problems. Thanks again.

Please forgive my ignorance in audio as I am historically an animation engineer and we had no one else that wanted to do so this.
