Hi

My game is working perfectly in WindME, but it’s weird in XP.
I have some sounds loaded.., ambient sounds with crickets and bird, etc.
I also have the sound of water in 3D.,a nd it grows louder when the players gets closer to the water.., but this only works in WinME., in XP i’m allwys hearing the water.
And.., when i shoot in ME i hear the sound of the gun, and the explosion on the wall, and in XP , a complete silence!
The playsound function returns 4096.., this should be the channel number, right ?
So.., why, why it works ok in ME, and not in XP ? any ideias ?

Well, my loading function is like this:

void Sound::LoadWav(char name[30],float Volumem,float VolumeM, bool Loop)

channel = 0;
samp = FSOUND_Sample_Load(FSOUND_FREE, name, FSOUND_HW3D, 0);
FSOUND_Sample_SetMinMaxDistance(samp, Volumem, VolumeM);
if(Loop) FSOUND_Sample_SetLoopMode(samp, FSOUND_LOOP_NORMAL);
else FSOUND_Sample_SetLoopMode(samp, FSOUND_LOOP_OFF);
}

do you see any problems with it ?
