hi !

2 errors in the usercreatedsound project:

Error 1 The type or namespace name ‘datalen’ could not be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?) C:\Programme\FMOD SoundSystem\FMOD Programmers API\examples_csharp\usercreatedsound\usercreatedsound.cs 324 39 usercreatedsound

Error 2 The variable ‘count’ cannot be used with type arguments C:\Programme\FMOD SoundSystem\FMOD Programmers API\examples_csharp\usercreatedsound\usercreatedsound.cs 324 31 usercreatedsound

i use VS2005, but as i see thats not the error because count and datalen are not defined, and thats not a reason for VS2005 to fail, the project should also not compile with VS2003.

regards,
Thomas

Actually, it does compile properly in VS2003. I noticed the errors being reported in your post are in the unsafe code blocks. Did you set “Allow unsafe code blocks” to true in the project configuration (or whatever is equivalent in VS2005)?

unsafe code is allowed, thats not the error,…
i changed this line:

for (count=0; count < datalen >>2; count++)

to that line of code

for (count=0; count < (datalen >>2); count++)

now the projects compiles….
