My test project is written in C# under .NET CF 1.0a. The system I am using is an ARM-based Win CE 5.0 embedded system and I am using the latest version of FMOD 3.75.
As long as I only work in one thread everything works fine. But if I work in different threads (for example the FMOD-lib is initialized in one thread and is used in an other thread afterwards) in some cases I get a Native Exception which can’t be handled by my application – and my application stops immediately.

Is this a limitation of FMOD, is there a way to ship around the problem?

FMOD 3.75 is not guaranteed to be safe if called from multiple threads. Only call it from the thread you created it from.
