So looking at the API I am unclear how I can use events as environment sounds.

lets say I have an event for something and i spatialize it.

event->start()
event.set3DAttributes(…)

so I playback a second of the same event:

event->start()
event.set3DAttributes(…)

what does this do to the first playing instance? which instance has it’s attributes set? How do I control a particular playback instance?

Ohh. so getEvent makes a new event. it doesnt get an existing one.

This behavior is not documented at all in the reference. The documentation at least to me implies that getEvent will return the same event each time since it implies a one to one relation between what getEvent returns and the events in the tree.
