I’ve got a problem with fmod version fmodapi40302linux and my debian sarge system with a newer kernel 2.6.14.
I setup a external 7.1 USB soundcard to the system and it plays fairly well music via XMMS.
Now I tried to use fmod and I just get errors while trying to access alsa (which is the builtin kernel-alsa 1.0.x). Error message is something like “can’t use alsa, while data are sending to it”.
Any idea why fmod can’t talk to ALSA?
Or has anyone fmod running with debian and kernel 2.6.14 alsa and can tell me what to do?
