there is code clearly in fmod_output_alsa.cpp that makes assumptions that if your # of channels is >= 6, then it has to do with 5.1 or 7.1.

this is screwing me up as i have 10 mono outputs, that i am trying to use as 5 stereo outputs.

can i get this removed if the speakermode is FMOD_SPEAKERMODE_RAW?

That is just opening either the “surround51” or “surround71” ALSA driver to allow multichannel output.

For 10 channel output, pass in the name string of ALSA driver that allows 10 channel output into the “extradriverdata” parameter of System::init

Also, if discussing FMOD source releases, please email support@fmod.org rather than posting on the forum.
