I am curious what all of the compression options are for FSB Banks. I am seeing only IMAADPCM and PCM only, and for Music neither of these options are optimal and I would like to move to using Events overall, but unfortunately the size is prohibiting.
IMAADPCM seems like the size is a bit better, but Event Player wouldn’t properly play them for me, and I haven’t yet tested within my project to see if they work for me outside of that.
PCM is fine for some of our smaller sounds, but a majority of them create FSB banks that are megs larger than what we really want size wise

for IMAADPCM, is there anything specific that needs to be followed original format wise or on the system that is playing the sound from the banks?
I can make the banks fine, but if I use Event Player, they won’t play and I tested in game and they also don’t play (even though they try to)

I have been tinkering around with Sound Designer and had a similar question regarding the compression of banks.
Is there any way to keep the format of the source audio?
I like the ogg format for its size and licensing terms. What better way to do music. But the size advantage is lost when using sound designer for music : (
Is ogg planned to be supported as a compression type for banks?
