i promised myself i was not going to upgrade again because everything was working fine. but with a recent computer crash i had to get the newest version of fmod designer and upgrade the sound system in our game. and of course i have come across odd errors again.
i have updated all the .h .lib and .dll in the project. recompiled the fmod designer files and the banks. and double checked that it wasent referencing an old version of the dll.
im now getting a crash in the fmod_event_net.dll when im trying to load up the fev.
i have built a test fev with just one event and it still crashes to confirm that it is not a bad designer project.
FMODResult = m_pEventsystem->load(_FEV, _EncryptionKey);
Unhandled exception at 0x00331ff8 in game.exe: 0xC0000005: Access violation writing location 0x0055ef52.
has something changed in the way to load up fev’s? could mine be corrupt? is my computer possessed by evil demons?
thanks for the help

Does your test FEV load correctly in the FMOD Event Player? If so then what about modifying the "simple_event" example program to try to load it? If still no dice then send me the FEV.
Nothing’s changed in the way to load up FEV’s, it is possible but highly unlikely that yours could be corrupt and your computer may be possessed by evil demons in which case you need to find an exorcism forum not an audio middleware forum.
