I just started with FMOD Ex (using the C# wrapper). Got 2d sound working properly, but I can’t figure out what the difference is between velocity and position while using 3d listeners. Velocity would be useless if you position the listener right?

The perfect example of velocity is when you hear an ambulancy siren getting close to you then getting away.
To be clear, a velocity vector towards the listener makes the frequency of the sound higher. The more the velocity vector is aiming far from the listener, the more the sound frequency will drop. A nil vector for velocity doesn’t alter the sound frequency.
