I have a general question about channels. When I’m playing a sound, I pass in a specific channel. Before the sound ends, I play another sound using the same channel.

I initially thought that because I assigned them to the same channel, that they would not blend and what would happen is that the first sound stops playing, and the second begins (no blending – this is what I had wanted). I later found out that instead of this behavior, the second sound plays immediately but the first sound continues playing until completion (blending).

Obviously, I think this behavior is normal. But is there any way I can get it to act the way i had originally intended?
