Hi

I have working test project. When I add in my code any fmod commands like "FSOUND_Init(44100, 32, 0);" [b:f29393i9]I can’t run my program in emulator or device straigth from Visual Studio[/b:f29393i9] by pressing Start Debugging or Start Without Debugging button. If there is no fmod commands in code then running straight from Visual Studio is possible.

If I press "Start debugging" button, Visual Studio gives error: "Unable to start program ‘%CSIDL_PROGRAM_FILES&\test\test.exe’. An error occured that usually indicates a corrupt installation (code 0x8007007e). If the problem persist, repair your Visual Studio installation via ‘Add or Remove Programs’ in Control Panel.".

If I try "Start without debugging" button, error is: "The specified module could not be found".

There is no problem in the code. If I copy builded .exe and fmodce.dll to my emulator or device I can run program successfully from there (Program plays mp3 with fmod).

Also I was able to debug with Windows Mobile 5.0 Emulator straight from Visual Studio with fmod commands perfectly.

So If anyone is using Pocket PC 2003 emulator with Visual Studio 2003 or 2005 successfully, please give me a hint. (I have allready tried reinstalling).

I noticed that there was many program running background in Windows Mobile 5.0 emulator. There is this "save emulator state" when you close emulator.

So I have saved it some days a go, and now when I went to see that what programs are running in emulator I see programs like Internet Explorer, Tasks, File Explorer [b:199c88if]and[/b:199c88if] FMOD – simple (from fmod samples). When I closed "simple" -example. I get the same error as I did with Pocket PC 2003 SE Emulator. AND when i put that "simple" -example back on and leave it to background, I’m able to debug my project STRAIGHT from Visual Studio. Could some one explain that what the f*** is going on? 😀

No need to keep simple -example on the background. You just need to copy fmodce.dll in Pocket PC emulator’s root directory..

edit: same goes for device too.
