I’m try to compile and run FMOD examples under PS2 with Metrowerks CodeWarrior (under Windows) and with GCC (under Linux) for PS2.
I’m get link error:
[code:21qcw7gm]Link Error :Undefined : "__builtin_delete
Referenced form "lineTestAll_Q24FMOD11GeometryMgrP11FMOD_Vector1PfT3" in fmodex.a
Referenced form "read_Q24FMOD4FilePvUiUiPUi" in fmodex.a
Link Error :Undefined : "__pure_virtual"
Referenced form ".rodata" in fmodex.a[/code:21qcw7gm]

Versions:
FMOD Ex v4.02.07
FMOD Ex v4.03.01
Metrowerks CodeWarrior v5.6.1.1797
PS2 Runtime Libraries v3.0.2

I have same result with fmodexD.a and fmodexD_reduced.a.
If I’m create a stub function __builtin_delete and __pure_virtual then I’m failing with assert:
[code:2qhesuhm]FMOD: MemPool::alloc : Failed allocating ../src/fmod.cpp line 227. Wanted 4460 bytes, current 0/0

assertion "result == FMOD_OK" failed: file "sounds.c", line 473[/code:2qhesuhm]
in the FMOD_System_Create function.
But __builtin_delete and __pure_virtual is never called.

I’m download latest version FMOD Ex v4.04.02 and have same result.
And I can’t find CodeWarrior examples. There are one .cww file and there aren’t .mcp files.

OK. I’t worked under CoderWarrior, but I can’t compile under GCC from latest PlayStation 2 Programmer Tool Runtime Library Release 3.0

do you mean ee-gcc.exe? that is a SN Systems compiled compiler and that is what FMOD is primarily built with. Just use the correct fmodex_reduced.a file and not the codewarrior library.
