Hello,

When I use the FSOUND_FX_SetParamEq function I receive an error message at the initialization: “Entrypoint in fmod.dll not found “_FSOUND_FX_SetParamEq@16″.” (I use Delphi 6.0)

What’s going wrong?
Thanks in advance…

same problem here …

W2k/Delphi 6

surely just 1 copy of matching Fmod.dll and Fmod.pas (same Timestamp).

Att. Delphi-Users, there seems 2 be a typo in the Header file (fmod.pas).

In the following line:
function FSOUND_FX_SetParamEq; external FMOD_DLL {$IFDEF WIN32} name ‘_FSOUND_FX_SetParamEq@16’ {$ENDIF};

the string:
_FSOUND_FX_SetParamEq@16

must be changed to:
_FSOUND_FX_SetParamEQ@16

then it worx.

Hmm…

I use D6 Pro and have never had this problem. XP machine though, maybe another one of the thousands of bugs in an MS product (w2k)?

I can’t see D6 being case sensistive for an external call. I may be wrong but I have never had this problem even when creating my own headers.

But as long as it works now for you I guess that is all that matters.

😉

I have never come across this before, but I will make sure it is changed in the next release.
