Does anyone know of any programs (or could write one) that converts XMI files to XM format playable by FMOD?

I am part of a team rewriting a game (System Shock) and all the audio for the game is in XMI format which is unplayable using Libs like SDL and FMOD. A conversion routine that can work in realtime would be ideal, but a standalone Linux/Win32 console app would also be good.

It is not “possible” (without a compete hardwork i mean). XMI (XMI Miles Sound System Extended MIDI file) is a MIDI file format, not an XM or module family file format. You can try MID2XM (now it is free ! http://www.un4seen.com/music/music_mid2xm.html ) , this file will perhaps appear as a standart MIDI file ?
